Zero inspections & audits

Zero inspections & audits

A zero inspection or audit records the current condition of the seamer before any further maintenance work takes place. This inspection provides a reference point against which subsequent changes can be compared. The information from the zero inspection provides a good basis for a further step-by-step plan such as a multi-year maintenance plan or a multi-year overhaul plan. This way you know where you stand in terms of maintenance of the seamer in the coming years.

The step-by-step plan

During the zero inspection the following will be performed:

1) Inspection of the current condition of the seamer
2) Checking the documentation
3) Recording the current state by means of reporting and photos
4) Carrying out measurements and tests
5) Identification of possible problems, wear or defects
6) Recording the current seam quality
7) Preparing complete reporting
